Deco Mayo

I got some great news last night. A friend of mine and Ralph’s will be closing on his first condo in a couple of weeks and he wants me to decorate it! Last night I fell asleep, thinking of the perfect lamps for the upcoming Bachelor Pad Project. I’ve been kicking around paint colors and prioritizing a basic task list in my head whenever I got a breather at work, which wasn’t often. Our friend and I have already discussed what he would like to have as a theme and I’ve already thought of a few ideas to run by him that may be pushing toward the “much” line. I just have to keep reminding BachelorFriend that he will have to roll up his sleeves and do a lot of the work. Prioritizing by what can give the most bang for the buck (paint and carpet shampoo being that it’s not new-new) in the shortest amount of time. That way, while he waits for a good time to start a bigger project (he travels a lot for work), he can still have some nice, personal touches to make it feel like (his) home.
